TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS ON CAPITOL HILL - 2010

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the White House not a lobbyist was stirring, not even a member of the House. The bags of the Liberals were packed with care because they had taken a beat down by the voters this year. The Republicans were snug in their beds with visions of repealing Obama-Care dancing in their heads.

Mamma Gibbs in her kerchief and Robert in his cap. They had settled their brains for a long winters nap, praying that they wouldn’t see Santa this year. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter. He jumped from his bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window, he flew like a flash, tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.

Roberts eyes filled with terror at the appearance of a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer. With a little old driver so lively and quick. As he feared, it was St Nick. Then he heard him yell out his name; Robert Gibbs you are still completely insane.

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, when they meet an obstacle and take to the sky. So up to the roof top the coursers they flew. With an empty sleigh and St Nickolas too.

And then in a twinkling. He heard on the roof, the prancing, and pawing of each little hoof. As he drew his head in and braced for the worst as he turned around down the chimney came St Nickolas with abound.

Santa was dressed in fur from head to his foot. His clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. No bag of toys flung over his back. Robert knew once again that he was going to be sacked.

You still speak for our leaders on Capitol Hill and you’re still telling the voters to TAKE THE BLUE PILL. Don’t you see America is ill. There are no stockings hung on the sills. Americans have lost all hope. The bureaucrats in Washington are all dopes.

Santa looked at Gibbs with an evil stare. Gibbs ducked behind his favorite chair. Then Santa said; Robert you have been very bad this year remember I warned you what would happen last year and this administration doesn’t really care.

Santa said, with a scowl on his face I didn’t think things could get worst. I fear that the Republic that stood all these years will soon be taken away in a hearse. The administration is tearing this Land I love apart and I’m beginning to think Washington doesn’t have a heart. Even as we speak, our President is doing the Ali Rope-A-Dope; even his supporters have lost all hope.

You said the people across this land are stupid and dumb you have called the conservatives terrorists and bums. The voters have sent Washington a message you don’t understand. Now the Democrats are trying to spin it to keep the power in their hands.

As Gibbs peeked around the chair; Santa spoke not a word, but went straight to his work. He grabbed all the present and replaced them with coal then grabbing the tree he disappeared as if he were swallowed up by a black hole.
@The room went silent Gibbs hung his head He decided it was time for him to go back to bed, in the hush of the night Robert Gibbs realized Rush is right.

Santa sprang to his sleigh, saying “away from this wretched place” he gave his team a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. The Secret Service heard him exclaim, as he flew out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and to the Liberals that were kicked out of office good-night!"
